About goldenjavelin
In a world where our sport often doesn’t get the attention it deserves, we’ve built a space dedicated to telling the untold stories of athletes worldwide.
The goldenjavelin is a group of track & field enthusiasts and journalists who’ve cheered from the stands at the London 2012, Rio 2016 and Paris 2024 Olympics.
Our coverage spans the full range of track & field events, from top-tier competitions like the Diamond League to all World Athletics Continental and Indoor Series Meetings. In addition, we highlight standout performances from regional meets.
While mainstream media tends to focus on world-class athletes, we are committed to giving a voice to athletes that often go unnoticed on the world stage.
Athletes and track clubs communicate with us in English, German, Spanish and Portuguese. We are based in Cologne, Germany.

FAQs
-
The goldenjavelin community is predominantly made up of track and field athletes and coaches. While our community is international, the fanbase from the U.S. track and field community is notably larger than any other audience.
-
We collaborate with elite athletes and talents whose meet results and stories are interesting to our community. In addition, we work with international and regional meets, in particular those who struggle to reach their fan audience.
We are open to both social media collaborations and story-telling or meet “recaps” and interviews that are published on our website.
